n ryanair to increase stansted-shannon frequency


Ryanair will increase its new Stansted-Shannon service to three flights a day on May 18. The flight started last Thursday as a daily operation. Fares lead in at £7 return, excluding taxes, on its Web site ryanair.com. Agents can offer a lead-in fare of £39 return on the new route.


n aer lingus opens new heathrow premier lounge


Aer Lingus has opened up a new Premier Lounge at Heathrow. The Terminal One lounge offers Premier Class business passengers office facilities and improved catering options. The Irish carrier has opened the facility as it prepares to join the British Airways-led Oneworld alliance.


n air france upgrades frequence plus programme


Air France has revamped its frequent-flyer programme Frequence Plus to give passengers more opportunity to spend points earned. The airline has lowered the threshold to qualify for Concorde, first and business-class tickets. The airline is also launching a scheme for passengers under 25.
