n stena line brochure runs children’s offerStena Line has launched its year 2000 brochure in Northern Ireland which introduces free children’s holidays to Pontins in Blackpool and Southport. It is offering the free child place for every two paying adults, with prices starting at £129 per person, for three nights’ full board.
n royal caribbean sees 17%rise in profits
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has reported record first quarter results, with net profit increasing 17% to $105.5m. Revenues for the first quarter were up 16% to $707m over last year. It attributed the increase to strong response to its new 142,000-ton Voyager of the Seas and successful millennium cruises.
n luxury hotel consortium additions
Six new hotels have joined the Small Luxury Hotels of the World consortium in the Asia/Pacific region bringing the total to 61. New members include two properties in Australia, one on Bora Bora, and one in Sri Lanka.
