n monk to speak at card fraud event


ABTA head of financial services Mike Monk will be among speakers at a conference aboutcredit-card fraud in the travel industry which will take place on Thursday. The second international conference on credit-card fraud in travel will be at Westminster Conference Centre, 12 Great George Street, London. n salva takes iberia business position


Iberia has appointed Mike Salva as business sales manager for UK and Ireland. Salva joins the Spanish airline from Oneworld partner Qantas.One of his main roles will be working closely with British Airways as Iberia forges a UK-Spain partnershipto European andSouth American destinations.


n may appointed as RCI new chief executive


Resorts and Condominiums International has appointed Kenneth May as chief executive. He will oversee RCI’s global operations. May replaces John Russell, who left the firm last September.


n euro disney sees revenue rise by 8%


Euro Disney has reported a revenue increase of 8% to £245.8m for the six months to the end of March 31. Theme park revenues increased 7% to £116.3m.


n abta prepares for structure changes


ABTA’s new structure will officially be under way when a new board is sworn in at the annual general meeting on Wednesday. Nominations for a new president will close at5pm on May 10 and the successful candidatewill be elected on May 11. The new Council of Regions will hold its first meeting on May 9.
