Royal Olympic extends offer

ROYAL Olympic Cruises has extended its weekend cruise promotion to the end of May after strong demand for the programme.

The cruiseline introduced a three-day Greek island itinerary on board its ships World Renaissance and Olympic Countess, earlier this year, as an alternative to a short break or city break on land.

The package includes a departure fromGatwick with Cronus Airlines, a tour of Athens, then ports of call at Mykonos, Rhodes, Patmos and Kusadasi. Since its introduction in March, the three-day cruise has resulted in full sailings.

Royal Olympic head of operations Vic Howlett said:”What’s most pleasing is that the newcomers the cruise has attracted have been of a younger profile than our usual clientele, many of whom have been attracted to the package as an alternative to a city break.” The cruise leads in at £446 per person.
