Operator puts focus on new Tunisia resorts
PANORAMA has added two new resorts, Gammarth and Hammamet Yasmine, to its 2001 Tunisia programme.Sales and marketing director Martin Young said: “Gammarth is very much Tunisia’s upmarket playground, a 25-minute cab ride from Tunis city centre. The coastline is quite different to the rest of Tunisia and there are good quality hotels. For clients who want to use it as a base for seeing some of what Tunis has to offer, it is a great place to be at.”
Hammamet Yasmine is a new marina resort south of the resort of Hammamet. Young said the resort will continue being built over the next two to three years with the marina due for completion in 2002.
Also new in the brochure is a new property in Mahdia, three hotels in Skanes and two in Port El Kantaoui. For the first time, all-inclusive properties have been highlighted in their own section of the brochure and there is a dedicated section for Sol Melia hotels.
The operator is also pushing business-class flights for 2001.
