Become one of Travel Weekly’s Inspiring Agents

Enter our competition with Inspiretec and you could become one of three agents featured in Travel Weekly showcasing how technology has the power to help you sell more and sell better

As travel starts to get itself gradually back on track after the Covid-19 pandemic, providing superior customer service is going to be one of the most important factors.

At Travel Weekly we know that the role of the travel agent has never been more valued as travellers look for advice, knowledge and reassurance from experts.

But we also know that the travel sector has been hit incredibly hard by the pandemic and many firms are going to have to up their game and get even closer to their customers.

Our Inspiring Agents will be given an extended 12-months free access to Inspiretec’s new Travel CRM (Customer Relationship Management) technology.

To ‘put the relationships into CRM,’ they will be given personal support from Inspiretec to integrate the system into their businesses and to get up and running and Travel Weekly will chart their progress online and in print each quarter over the 12-month period.

Simon Powell, Inspiretec founder and chief executive, says he feels now is the time to give something back to an industry that has been part of his family for decades and the time his father ran a network on high street stores.

“My heart really goes out to all agents and tour operators who have been faced with a situation that is truly unprecedented,” he said.

“We’re now in a situation where an awful lot of debt is being carried by the industry and for a while that’s going to have to be paid back, so everybody needs to drive efficiencies into their business.

“So, we’re looking for three agents of different types that demonstrate this is a really relevant piece of technology for all different kinds of companies.

“It’s about the desire of those companies to want to embark on this journey that we’re going on with us for 12 months and extract the value from this technology.

“I have absolutely no doubt our CRM will allow people to ultimately sell more holidays and improve their interaction with clients and drive better engagement.”
