Canadian Affair and American Affair are teaming up to host two days of celebrations to mark Canada Day and Independence Day with UK travel agents.

The sister tour operators have enlisted more than 75 travel agencies stores, including Hays Travel and Your Co-op Travel, to take part in the festivities.

Agents will be in with the chance of winning a selection of Canadian and American prizes as well as places on the operators’ next fam trips to North America.

How to enter

On Canada Day (July 1), Canadian Affair will publish Canada-themed quiz questions on its Facebook page every two hours from 10am. The first agent to answer each question correctly will win a Canadian Affair apron, mug, or tote bag, or £25 in Love2shop vouchers.

To be in with a chance of winning the top prize – a place on Canadian Affair’s next fam trip – agents need to send the operator a photo of themselves with their Canada Day Celebration Box, which will be sent to them in advance. Each box contains pancakes and maple syrup, Canadian sweets, Hershey chocolates, Maple Cream cookies, Seabrook Canadian Ham crisps, flags, bunting, and a selection of Canadian Affair posters.

American Affair will host early Independence Day celebrations on its Facebook page on July 2. US-themed quiz questions will be posted on its Facebook page every two hours, giving agents the opportunity to win an American apron, flag, mug, ‘I Love America’ tote bag, or £25 in Love2shop vouchers.

Participating agents will also receive an Independence Day Celebration Box containing US flags, streamers, bunting, and head boppers, sweets and Hershey chocolates. Whichever store submits the best photo of their agents with the contents of the box will secure a place on American Affair’s inaugural fam trip.
