Tourism New Zealand is inviting UK agents to take part in a unique four-part virtual fam trip series, taking place from 29th September until the 1st December 2021.
Agents will be taken on a series of immersive, high octane and educational journeys across the diverse landscapes of New Zealand. The virtual trips will be brought to life by passionate local tourism operators, filmed in first person, who will guide agents through different experiences as if in real time: from sea kayaking around Auckland in the North Island; to cruising along Doubtful Sound in Fiordland National Park in the South Island.
The full virtual fam series is listed below:
Wednesday the 29th September at 12.00pm: Auckland & Northland Fam Experience
Wednesday the 20th October at 12.00pm: Rotorua & Hawke’s Bay Fam Experience
Wednesday the 10th November at 12.00pm: Wairarapa & Akaroa Fam Experience
Wednesday the 1st December at 12.00pm: Wanaka & Fiordland Fam Experience

Each fam trip session will ‘depart’ at 12.00pm UK time. Interested travel sellers only need to sign up once to join the entire series.
A recording of each virtual fam trip will be sent to all agents who have signed up automatically, even if they don’t join the live session.
How to win
By joining the virtual fam trip, agents will contribute to the protection of New Zealand’s unique biodiversity.
For every 10 live participants, Tourism New Zealand will plant one native tree along the virtual fam trip itinerary.
The trees will then be gifted to a select few lucky agents. The winners will receive a certificate as well as further information on where in New Zealand their tree is being planted.
