A codeshare pact between Are Lingus and American Airlines has ben expanded to allow passengers to book more transatlantic flights via both airlines’ websites.
Customers can now purchase flights with Aer Lingus or American Airlines between Dublin-Philadelphia and Dublin-Chicago.
The codeshare arrangement was established last year, enabling Aer Lingus customers to book direct flights from Dublin to Charlotte and Dallas-Fort Worth with American Airlines via the Irish carrier’s website.
Aer Lingus travellers can also book codeshare connecting travel with American Airlines to destinations such as Albuquerque, Nashville, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Portland, San Jose, Tampa and Tucson.
The enhancement is part of a wider Atlantic joint business partnership including American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia and Finnair, which Aer Lingus joined in 2020.
