Air Malta has brought forward the resumption of flights from Gatwick to December following increased signs of recovery across many European
markets.
The airline had previously announced that it will start operations from the airport next summer.
Gatwick flights will restart from December 11 and will initially run three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Flights from Heathrow will continue being served with daily flights during the winter.
