Air Astana to resume London route

Kazakhstan carrier Air Astana is to resume direct flights to Heathrow from the country’s capital Nur-Sultan.

The London route returns on September 18 initially with two frequencies on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

The airline will deploy 166-seat two-class Airbus A321LR aircraft on the route, with the flight time of 7 hours and 15 minutes to London and 6 hours and 30 minutes to Nur-Sultan.

Economy class return fares from Heathrow start at £511 inclusive of government taxes, airport fees and charges. 

Passengers travelling to Kazakhstan are required to present a negative Covid-19 test taken 72 hours prior to entering the country.
