Cathay Pacific resumes Hong Kong-UK flights

Hong Kong flag-carrier Cathay Pacific is restarting services, as Covid-19 restrictions have eased.

Its first UK flight departs from Heathrow on Thursday (March 31), landing in Hong Kong on April 1, followed by a Manchester airport departure on April 3.

The Hong Kong airport transit ban will also be lifted by April 1, allowing passengers to travel to onward destinations with the airline.

Travellers will be able to connect through Hong Kong to airports in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia and elsewhere in Asia.

Cathay Pacific has a check-list about rules for passengers planning to travel to Hong Kong and advises them to have printed copies of documents.
