EasyJet holidays is extending its summer programme to Rhodes into November.
The move comes as the Greek island recovers from wildfires which forced the evacuation of holidaymakers in July.
The move by the UK budget airline’s in-house tour operation came as Tui Group also extended its summer season to Greece and Turkey into November.
The extra easyJet holidays packages are available from Bristol, Gatwick, Luton and Manchester.
Commercial director Paul Bixby said: “For many reasons, Rhodes is one of our most loved destinations, and we were saddened to see parts of the beautiful destination impacted by wildfires this summer.
“But, it’s been fantastic to see that Rhodes is making a strong recovery, and holidaymakers are once again enjoying all the island has to offer.
“I’m delighted that we’re offering an even longer season in Rhodes this year, further supporting its recovery and contributing to a more sustainable way of travel.”
