Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks are adding 16 extra flights to Rome in response to the publication of 2024 Six Nations rugby fixtures.
Capacity is being increased from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, Stansted and Glasgow.
The extra flights are timed for the Italy v England fixture on February 3, 2024 and Italy v Scotland on March 9.
The move enables the sister companies to offer weekend trips covering both fixtures.
Chief executive Steve Heapy said: “Our flights to Rome for this year’s Six Nations are proving to be incredibly popular, with customers enjoying the sporting action in one of the world’s most unforgettable cities.
“Following the publication of the 2024 fixtures this week, we have already seen strong demand, so we have acted fast to provide customers and independent travel agents with even more choice.
“We have a superb programme on sale to Rome for the 2024 Six Nations and based on previous demand through the trade, we expect it to sell very well indeed.”
