An air link from Gatwick to the Italian Alps is being re-introduced this winter with an expanded schedule.
Regional carrier SkyAlps will fly three times a week to Bolzano in the Dolomites from December 18.
The seasonal route was first started last December with flights on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Italy’s fifth largest airline has added a Saturday frequency as it claimed that the service can cut transfer times to ski resorts from other Alps gateways airports such as Innsbruck or Venice nearly in half.
The carrier operates 76-passenger Dash Q400 turboprops with one-way fares starting at €184.
A spokesperson said: “The schedule expansion will enable greater opportunity to visit the Dolomites, with a direct route to Bolzano. Bolzano is a small, quick and efficient airport with very little queues, if any.”
