Jet2 increases Montenegro capacity by 9%

Jet2.com has increased the number of seats departing to Tivat airport in Montenegro next year by 9% to cater for demand.

The airline and sister tour operator reported record sales from the UK this year for holidays to the Balkan country.

They launched services to Tivat in summer from Birmingham and Stansted airports, following the launch from Manchester in 2023.

This year saw more than 31,000 arriving seats on sale, with six weekly flights across the three UK bases, operating from April 1 until October 31.

For 2025, they have more than 34,000 arriving seats on sale to Tivat from the three UK bases.

Furthermore, flights and holidays to Montenegro with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are already on sale for 2026.

The operator said attractions include the Bay of Kotor, Durmitor National Park, beaches and historic towns and villages.

It highlighted adventure and activity options, such as the Alpine Coaster which opened in summer 2024. This two-person experience down the cliffs of Lovćen gives riders spectacular views of the Bay of Kotor.

Durmitor National Park offers hiking, rafting in the Tara River Canyon and skiing in the winter, while Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans, is popular with birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts.
