Jet2CityBreaks has doubled the size of its Norway and fjords programme for spring 2025.

Jet2 began running its 2024 programme of flights and city breaks to Norway on April 25, marking the first time it had operated routes to Bergen in more than 15 years.

In 2025, it will begin operating its Bergen programme from April 10 to target Easter travellers.

In total, Jet2 will run 31 departures to Bergen in April and May 2025, more than doubling its operation in 2024 “in response to demand from customers and independent travel agents who are booking discovery-based experience holidays”, the operator said.

A three-night stay at a four-star hotel on a B&B basis with flights departing from London Stansted costs from £719 based on an April 28, 2025, departure.

The collection forms part of the operator’s Discover More range which aim to provide customers with experience-led holidays.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are just a few weeks on from launching flights and city breaks to Bergen and the fjords for the first time in over 15 years and the response from customers and independent travel agents has been incredible.

“As well as giving customers a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness the spectacular fjords and breathtaking scenery of Norway, Bergen is a truly stunning and vibrant city.

“With so much to experience, this makes Bergen a hugely popular destination and our Discover More range is proving to be the perfect product for customers and independent travel agents who want to enjoy an experience-based holiday with all the award-winning benefits of Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks.”
