Jet2holidays has recruited two trade sales executives to support agent partners in Scotland, Cumbria and the South East.
Sharon Wilson (pictured, left) has been appointed to cover Scotland and Cumbria, while Michelle Thake (right) will cover the South East and London Stansted catchment area.
The operator is also recruiting for a regional sales executive to cover trade accounts in the East Midlands area.
It said the appointments “demonstrated its commitment to investing in its independent travel agency partners to give them the tools and skills to attract customers and sell package holidays to drive business growth, as part of its Partners2Success approach”.
Prior to joining Jet2holidays, Thake spent two years as a business development manager for G Adventures, having previously spent 15 years as a Travel Counsellor. She started her career as a high street agent, with spells at Going Places, Hays Travel, Thomas Cook and Fred Olsen.
Wilson also started her career as a travel agent before 25 years at Royal Caribbean including 17 years in the sales team covering Scotland and Ireland and seven years as a sales and brand trainer.
