Leading speakers confirmed for Travel Weekly business breakfast

Four leading travel trade speakers have been confirmed for Travel Weekly’s first executive business breakfast of the year.

The traditional event at the end of the first quarter of the year will focus on trading and the outlook for the summer and beyond.

It will take place at the offices of Deloitte in central London on Thursday, March 24 and speakers will include: Lee Haslett, vice-president of global sales, Virgin Atlantic; Giles Hawke, chief executive, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways; Eleni Skarveli, UK & Ireland director, Greek National Tourism Organisation; and Steve Witt, co-founder, Not Just Travel.

Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly Group, said: “Our business breakfast focusing on first quarter trading and future prospects was always a highlight of the calendar prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, and I am delighted that we are able to bring this event back in-person.

“There is clearly momentum building behind the industry’s recovery, but also serious challenges at home and overseas with the shocking and saddening crisis in eastern Europe of huge concern.”

She added: “I am hugely grateful to our four outstanding speakers for giving up their time to share their views, and to Deloitte for its ongoing support of our Travel Weekly Business portfolio.”

The business breakfast is an invitation-only event. However, if you would like to register your interest in attending should additional places become available, please complete the form below.
