Three routes are being added to Loganair’s summer 2022 schedule as it builds domestic and international connectivity.
Teesside-Southampton, Shetland-Dundee and Inverness-Dublin are being introduced.
The Teesside route is being taken over from rival Eastern Airways with six flights a week from March 27 with a lead in fare of £70.99.
The service also enables passengers to fly from Aberdeen to Southampton with a one stop service where they can remain on the aircraft for the entire journey.
Loganair will resume its Inverness to Dublin service for the first time since before the pandemic, flying from May 27 up to four times a week with lead in fares of £65.99 from Inverness or €76.15 from Dublin.
The new service between Shetland and Dundee will allow for an one stop connection to London City airport for the first time from May 9 with twice-weekly flights.
Fares from Shetland start at £96.99 to Dundee and £129.99 to London.
A direct Aberdeen-Bristol service returns this winter for the first time since before the pandemic, replacing a one-stop service between the two cities.
Flights can be booked from today (Wednesday) until mid-August 2022. Future flights beyond that date will become bookable around 11 months in advance. The airline is offering 58,000 seats across 76 routes.
Chief commercial officer Kay Ryan said: “We are looking to 2022 with optimism and continuing to connect more and more of the UK as we are able to do.
“Customer booking patterns will remain an incredibly important factor for us as we review which services we operate and which destinations we add either frequency or additional seat capacity to. We’ve had a really positive reaction from customers so far for next summer.”
Tees Valley mayor Ben Houchen said: “We’re delighted that Loganair has shown even more commitment to both Teesside and Southampton by introducing this great new route.
“It will also provide a great link for local businesses looking to get noticed, do business or expand in the south, plus open up many more opportunities for companies looking to relocate to Teesside, Darlington or Hartlepool.”
“We’re also looking forward to welcoming people from the coastal city through our new-look terminal and showing them everything that our region has to offer, as we continue to recover our hospitality and tourism sectors and look forward to a summer of festivals and fun, following the coronavirus pandemic.”
