Flights from London to Tel Aviv remain suspended until at least Friday, leading carriers have confirmed.
The war sparked by the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas and subsequent reprisals has seen a mass cancellation of flights.
British Airways confirmed that flights from Heathrow to and from the Israeli gateway airport originally due to resume today (Monday) will be suspended up to and including October 27 “following the latest assessment of the situation”.

Virgin Atlantic hopes to resume one of two daily Heathrow-Tel Aviv services on the same day.
But easyJet said its Tel Aviv flights would remain paused until November 7.
Wizz Air has been forced to cancel most flights from Israel and there are “high chances” of further cancellations to services using Ben Gurion airport.
El Al continues to operate from Tel Aviv, including services to London, and said: “We are doing the utmost to help passengers that had their flights cancelled by other airlines.”
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office updated its Israel travel advice on Friday against all travel to the whole of the West Bank, excluding Jerusalem.
It continues to advice against all but essential travel to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories and not to travel to Gaza, the area close to the border with Gaza and within five kilometres of the border with Lebanon.
