Air Canada has flown 46 customers from Heathrow to Canada as part of an escorted touring partnership with Newmarket Holidays.
The trip with the escorted touring specialist is the airline’s first partnered trip from the UK since the start of the pandemic. Flights departed on Sunday, October 3.
Customers were split into two groups, the first flying to Calgary and the second, escorted by Newmarket Holidays’ senior long-haul product manager Kathy Vigolo, to Air Canada’s hub in Toronto. Both trips will return from Vancouver.
The tours include Niagara Falls, the Canadian Rockies, Vancouver Island and Banff.
“We are pleased to partner with Newmarket Holidays and see the return of customers travelling to Canada,” said Stephen Gerrard, Air Canada general manager sales, for the UK and Ireland.
“We anticipate ongoing demand for vacation travel and from customers flying to rediscover the natural beauty of Canada.”
