Capacity offered by Singapore Airlines Group reached almost 80% of pre-Covid levels last month, new figures show.
SIA and budget offshoot Scoot carried a combined 2.7 million passengers last month, three times the number flown in March last year and up by 14% on February.
The overall passenger load factor was up by 34.5 percentage points year-on-year to 89% with SIA at 87.9% and Scoot at 92.8%.
SIA’s 1.7 million passengers in March was up 132% year-on-year, while Scoot’s carryings of almost 950,000 represented a rise of 638% over the same month in 2022.
The airline group cited continuing “robust” demand for air travel as the network covered 109 destinations across 36 countries by the end of March.
