A private jet charter arm is part of newly-established business travel firm Equinox Travel.
The travel management company specialising in music and entertainment travel has been set up by former The Appointment Group (TAG) and ET Travel directors Ian Patterson and Glen Duckworth.
The duo steered ET Travel to become a leading TMC in the sector, and later held joint chief operating officer roles at TAG.
Equinox specialises in delivering bespoke travel solutions and managing complex itineraries for bands and solo artists, agents, tour managers and film production companies.
The TMC also offers specialist travel support for professional sports people, athletes and sports agents, as well as facilitating corporate travel and arranging luxury leisure trips.
Private aircraft charter solutions will be handled in-house by Equinox Charter, which has become a member of the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and the British Business and General Aviation Association (BBGA).
Equinox pledged to strive to accommodate clients’ existing sustainable travel policies – selecting air travel options with lower emissions, providing the opportunity to offset carbon, making smart operator choices, promoting the use of empty legs, evaluating hotel choices based on sustainability factors or facilitating car transfers with electric vehicles.
