Virgin Atlantic has opened applications as it seeks to recruit 350 new cabin crew.
The roles will be part of an initial six-month fixed term contract with the view to extend.
The airline said applicants from all backgrounds, no matter age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion or beliefs are encouraged to apply.
Virgin Atlantic’s recent policy changes removed the need to wear make-up, allowed visible tattoos as well as offering the choice to wear uniforms that best represent gender identity.
“Successful applicants will demonstrate a pioneering spirit, a desire to discover new places and cultures, a positive attitude and a passion for delivering thoughtful experiences to each customer,” the carrier said.
Chief people officer Estelle Hollingsworth added: “We’re thrilled to be recruiting for new cabin crew members to join us in the skies.
“A job at Virgin Atlantic allows people to truly fly – to incredible places around the globe and to the world of opportunities both within Virgin Atlantic and beyond.
“We’re seeking new recruits from all backgrounds who are committed to offering the friendly, smiling and professional service Virgin Atlantic is known for – along with the iconic style and flair.
“We champion difference and individuality, and it’s by encouraging all of our people to truly be themselves at work that we uphold an inclusive environment where they each can thrive.”
