Spanish budget carrier Vueling is to run 14 routes from Gatwick and five from other UK airports as part of its winter schedule.
Malaga will be served up to 16 times a week, Seville with up to five flights a week and Gran Canaria three times a week from London’s second airport.
Other destinations include Alicante, Bilbao, Valencia, La Coruna, Barcelona, Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela, Lanzarote, Florence, Rome and Paris.
The winter schedule by the IAG carrier also sees flights operating from Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester airports.
Commercial director responsible for strategy and route planning, Carolyn Prowse, said: “The winter schedule represents the company’s commitment to offer attractive international destinations all year round without losing the essence of Vueling: bringing competitive and affordable prices to our customers.
“For this new season, we are continuing to consolidate our leadership position in Spain and to reinforce our international commitment through London Gatwick and Paris Orly.”
The airline is adding new routes from its Barcelona hub to Luxor and Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt and Rovaniemi in Finland.
