Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina is to be served from Luton airport by Wizz Air.
The budget carrier is also raising frequency to Suceava in Romania, Athens, Reykjavikand Dalaman.
Two flights a week will run from May 21 to the airline’s newest base at Sarajevo international airport with fares starting at £27.99.
Two more flights a week are being added to Suceava and one a week to Athens, Reykjavik and Dalaman.
The announcement follows the opening of new UK bases at Gatwick and Doncaster Sheffield last autumn and Cardiff airport next month with nine routes.
This will give the airline 144 routes from 12 UK airports.
Wizz Air UK managing director Owain Jones said: “Travel is currently restricted due to government regulations, but we are already looking ahead to a brighter future in which holiday travel is possible again.”
