A-Rosa reveals inaugural season for E-Motion

A-Rosa River Cruises UK & Ireland has unveiled itineraries for its new E-Motion vessel, which will start its inaugural season in spring 2022.

E-Motion ship will offer five different northern Rhine sailings next year, including two new ports of call for A-Rosa: Dordrecht and Utrecht.

The ship will stay overnight in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, allowing more time to visit these cities.

A seven-night Rhine Experience Amsterdam & Rotterdam cruise costs from £1,190 per person or £2,380 for a family of five sharing a family cabin – two adults and three children aged 15 and under, cruise only.

Departures are from May 21-October 22, 2022.

The river cruise operator has also launched new itineraries for its existing ships across Europe.

They offer the chance to see the Rhine in Flames celebrations in St Goar; visit the Floriade Expo in the Netherlands; and explore Portugal’s cuisine along the Douro.

From May 2022, A-Rosa Flora will move from the Rhine onto the Danube, offering a second English-speaking ship on this river.

Lucia Rowe, managing director at A-Rosa River Cruises UK & Ireland, said: “Agents and partners can sell our cruises, safe in the knowledge that even during Covid times last year, we sailed Covid-free on a range of rivers successfully for five months.

“For 2022…we will set sail on our ground-breaking E-Motion ship. This ship will be the first in a new generation of ships from us that are tailormade to cater for the family and multi-generational markets whilst also offering sustainable credentials that are unique to river cruising.”
