Seven Carnival Cruise Line ships converged together off the coast of Mexico as part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Carnival Breeze, Carnival Ecstasy, Carnival Glory, Mardi Gras, Carnival Pride, Carnival Sunrise and Carnival Vista met up near Cozumel.
Each ship hosted a Lido deck party as part of a series of themed birthday sailings.
The line will have its entire fleet back in service by the summer, completing a restart of sailings from US ports following the pandemic.
Carnival started operations with one ship from Miami in 1972 and now runs a fleet of 24 ships capable of carrying more than six million passengers a year, employing more than 40,000 crew from 120 nationalities.
