Celebrity chefs lined up for Uniworld spring cruises

Celebrity chefs Tom Kerridge, Raymond Blanc and Monica Galetti are to appear on Uniworld European river cruises next spring.

Former England cricket star Sir Ian Botham will also travel with chef Rosemary Shrager.

Each will be paired with a destination and cruise that complements their interests and expertise.

Cooking demonstrations, Q&A sessions and gala dinner menus personally crafted by the special hosts will feature on the sailings in March and April.

Uniworld managing director Chris Townson said: “We’ve been running expert-led cruises for a few years now, and a number of our celebrity hosts are returning for a second or third time.

“This is testament to the excellent relationships we’ve built up, the continued appetite for these unique itineraries and the exceptional quality of our onboard delivery, which see both hosts and guests coming back for more.

“In booking one of these cruises, travel agents can be sure that their clients will have a truly unforgettable experience.”

Botham and Shrager will be together on a Bordeaux itinerary on March 30; Galetti on a Venice departure on April 6; Blanc on a Burgundy and Provence cruise leaving on the same date and Kerridge in Bordeaux on April 20.

Prices lead in at £2,399 per person for the Kerridge cruise on the ship Bon Voyage.
