Costa Cruises has confirmed its deployment plans up until winter 2023, including sailings on yet-to-launch vessel Costa Toscana.
Starting from next month, the line’s latest ship Costa Firenze, Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana, which is currently being built, will enter service.
Costa Firenze, which launched last December, will sail Mediterranean cruises from July 4 until the end of November 2021.
This winter Costa Firenze will reposition from Dubai for sailings in the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar before returning to the Mediterranean to begin its summer season in April 2022.
The 6,554-passenger Costa Toscana (pictured) will debut in South America in December this year and will offer seven-day western Mediterranean cruises in 2022.

Costa Smeralda will replace Costa Toscana in South America in December before returning to the Mediterranean for cruises in Italy, France and Spain.
The line’s winter programme now includes sailings on Costa Diadema from September 26, Costa Fascinosa from September 23 and Costa Deliziosa from January 8, 2022.
Costa Luminosa, which is currently operating in the eastern Mediterranean, will sail two-week cruises to the Canary Islands or Israel.
Next summer, in addition to Costa Firenze, Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana cruising in the western Mediterranean, Costa Deliziosa, Costa Luminosa and Costa Pacifica will be in the eastern part of the Mediterranean next summer.
Four other ships – Costa Diadema, Costa Fascinosa, Costa Favolosa and Costa Fortuna – will operate in northern Europe, offering cruises to Baltic cities and Norwegian fjords.
