Ed Sheeran show to debut on new MSC Cruises ship

An Ed Sheeran songbook show is among entertainment options unveiled for new MSC Cruises ship Euribia.

A team of buskers will follow the singer-songwriter’s journey to stardom in one of seven new theatre shows to be offered on board.

The line also claims it will provide one of the largest big bands at sea with performances in the ship’s revamped Carousel Lounge.

The fifth Meraviglia class vessel, which enters service in June from Kiel in Germany and Copenhagen, will also stage shows including circus, rock music, jukebox live, variety and guest entertainers.

The naming ceremony for the new flagship is due to take place in Copenhagen on June 8.

MSC Cruises’ global head of entertainment Steve Leatham said: “We are so excited to announce our fun-filled entertainment offerings on our much-anticipated new flagship, MSC Euribia.

“Entertainment is a fundamental part of MSC Cruises’ guest experience and we’re always looking for new, engaging ways to delight our guests of all ages.

“We strive to create exceptional and immersive concepts combined with varied entertainment programmes to ensure that our guests will remember their cruise as the ultimate holiday experience.”
