Emerald Cruises has adapted three of its most popular itineraries to create new holidays that focus on the arts, culture and wine-making history of European rivers.
It has added the special interest holidays to the second edition of its 2022 European river cruising brochure.
The eight-day Wines of the Moselle itinerary (pictured) features several tours of wine estates on a cruise from Mainz to Bernkastel.
It costs from £2,195, departing August 21, 2022.
There are also two eight-day arts and culture cruises – one on the Danube and the other on the Rhine.
The Danube Spa, Arts & Culture Cruise departs from Budapest and includes an arts and crafts tour of the Hungarian riverside town, Szentendre; an art tour of Vienna; photography tour of Linz and Bavarian lunch in Passau. Prices start from £2,445, departing July 21, 2022.
The Rhine Spa, Arts & Culture cruise sails from Mainz to Basel and includes Heidelberg, Baden-Baden, Rüdesheim, Koblenz, Mannheim, Rastatt, Strasbourg and Breisach.
It costs from £2,495, departing June 26, 2022.
