Princess Cruises has officially named its fifth Royal-class ship in a ceremony aired on the line’s YouTube and Facebook page.
Enchanted Princess’ naming ceremony was part of a 45-minute filmed production called Our World, Enchanted that is now available on demand via the line’s social media accounts.
The film shows viewers the interiors, cabins, entertainment, dining options and craft cocktails available on Enchanted Princess.
The naming was hosted by the line’s celebrations ambassador Jill Whelan and the ship’s cruise director Dan Falconer.
The ceremony honoured Captain Lynn Danaher, Dr Vicki Ferrini and Jenifer Austin, who are members of The Explorers Club and serve as godmothers of Enchanted Princess.
Princess said the 3,660-passenger vessel represents an “evolution” of the design used on the line’s sister ships Royal Princess, Regal Princess, Majestic Princess and Sky Princess.
Enchanted Princess will offer a series of round-trip voyages out of Copenhagen from April to September next year.
