Carrier’s national partnerships manager Raj Mistry has left the brand to join new luxury cruise line Explora Journeys.
Mistry, who has worked at Carrier for nine years, joins Explora Journey in the role of business relationship expert.
A statement from Explora Journeys said: “We are excited to have Raj joining the Explora Journeys team, based in the UK. He is a highly respected sales manager and brings a great wealth of experience and knowledge. Raj will start with us on May 15 as business relationship expert, working alongside Andrew Schweitzer and Jenny Wade, reporting to Priti Mehta, head of sales UK and Ireland.”
Speaking about Mistry’s departure, Rick Milne, head of sales at Carrier, said: “We’ll certainly miss Raj. His profile in the trade is exemplary, everyone knows him for his generosity, kindness, and professionalism.
“For me personally, he’s been a joy to work with over the years.
“We’ve worked closely together on our trade strategy, ensuring our agents are supported with quality account management, industry-leading marketing, and a calendar of training activity designed to support and inspire our partners. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Raj for everything he has done for Carrier and wish him the best of luck in his new role.”
Following Mistry’s departure, Carrier has recruited Emma Frearson into its agency sales team.
