Four Seasons Yachts chief Larry Pimentel leaves luxury start-up

Cruise industry veteran Larry Pimentel has left his role as president and chief executive of luxury start-up Four Seasons Yachts.

Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, joint owner and operator of the luxury cruise company, confirmed the departure of Pimentel and co-founder Philip Levine, a former two-time mayor of Miami Beach.

Pimentel was previously at the helm of Azamara, SeaDream Yacht Club, Cunard and Seabourn.

Levine has resigned from the board of directors and has contracted to sell his interest in the venture to existing shareholders.

Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings said: “As Mr Pimentel and Levine embark on new endeavours, we extend our gratitude for their important contributions and wish them much success in their new ventures.

“We are beginning the search process immediately to select a new CEO to oversee our seasoned leadership team.

“We continue to build exciting momentum as we work with Four Seasons towards the launch of the inaugural voyage of Four Seasons Yachts in 2025.”

The brand was unveiled in 2022 with plans for the first of three vessels.

Pimentel told Travel Weekly in November that the company had plans to expand into the expedition and river cruises sectors.
