‘Hometel’ brand room2 has been confirmed as a new long-term associate partner of Clia.
The hospitality group, which was formed in 2015, hopes the partnership will enhance its brand awareness as it integrates with Clia’s community of cruise lines, travel agents and stakeholders.
room2 says it offers a ‘hometel’ experience with rooms that combine the comfort and flexibility of a home with the ‘best bits’ of a hotel. It has properties in Southampton, Chiswick and Hammersmith.
room2 will look to gain brand exposure via the industry body’s website and yearbook, while Clia agents will be able to network with company representatives at the upcoming Clia Cruise Forum in December and at the Clia Conference 2023 next May.
Jo Webb, room2 national key account manager, said: “We are delighted to join Clia and look forward to welcoming Clia members and the wider cruise community to our properties.
“Our team in Southampton is particularly excited, as they are ideally positioned to host and help those travelling to and from the city’s cruise terminal, which is extremely close by.”
Andy Harmer, managing director for Clia, said: “We’re very excited to welcome room2 into the Clia family. We’re looking forward to supporting them as they build relationships across the cruise sector and enhance their profile with agents and stakeholders.”
