MSC Cruises’ UK and Ireland team is hosting a charity cycle ride to raise £10,000 for the Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
The event will take place on March 10 outside the Export House at Victoria Place Shopping Centre in Woking.
MSC Cruises employees will take turns cycling on two stationary bikes, donated by The Gym Group, and will encourage passersby to donate to the cause.
The charity helps fund life-saving equipment, research and facilities at the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Antonio Paradiso, MSC Cruises vice-president of international sales, said: “We’re excited to bring this fundraiser to Woking and do our part to support Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
“Giving back is an important part of our values at MSC Cruises, and we’re proud to support such a vital cause.
“We hope the local community will get behind us, cheer on our cyclists, and help make a real difference for the children and families who rely on Alder Hey’s incredible care.”
Hayley Thomas, Alder Hey Children’s Charity head of corporate partnerships, said: “We are very grateful for all of the support we’ve received from MSC Cruises, and we’re delighted that they’ll be supporting us again with their charity cycle event.
“It’s been brilliant working with the team and we’re really looking forward to seeing how successful this event will be.”
