P&O Cruises has unveiled details about its first multi-sensory escape room due to debut on soon-to-launch ship, Arvia.
The “immersive” experience called Mission Control is set underwater on a fictional submarine called Arvia II and features a “series of challenging, mind-stimulating live-action puzzles”.
It will be suitable for all ages and has multiple storylines, according to the line.
P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: “Holidays are all about new experiences and the immersive escape room will create unforgettable action-packed moments with family and friends.
“Mission Control will expand our onboard entertainment offering even further, giving guests an opportunity to create unique bonding experiences they will talk about for years to come.”
Prices for the 14-night maiden cruise on 5,200-passenger Arvia, departing from Southampton on December 9, 2022, lead in from £1,449.
Ports of call include Madeira, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Cadiz and Lisbon.
