P&O Cruises has unveiled its summer 2024 programme, featuring itineraries on soon-to-launch vessel Arvia.
The 5,200-passenger ship (pictured), which joins the fleet in December this year, will offer two different 14-night western Mediterranean itineraries, each with six ports of call.
Prices for the 14-night Mediterranean cruise on Arvia, departing Southampton on April 28, 2024, start from £999. Ports of call include La Coruna, Palma, La Spezia, Marseille, Barcelona and Cadiz.

The line’s latest vessel, Iona, will operate seven-night itineraries again in the Norwegian Fjords.
The lead-in price for the seven-night Norwegian Fjords sailing on Iona, departing Southampton on April 20, 2024, starts from £529.
Ports of call include Stavanger, Olden, Alesund and Haugesund, all in Norway.
Britannia’s summer programme will also include seven-night Norwegian Fjords sailings and 14-night western Mediterranean cruises with extended calls to Palma and Ibiza and another itinerary to Cagliari in Sardinia.
“These itineraries also include many new shore experiences to discover the beach clubs and off the beaten track vineyards, adrenaline activities and countryside of Ibiza,” the line said.
P&O Cruises added the programme includes “extended time” in many destinations to maximise tailored shore experiences.
Malta will be the homeport for Azura’s summer season of seven and 14-night fly-cruise holidays. The western Mediterranean itineraries include a call to Civitavecchia (Rome) and to Villefranche (Monte Carlo).
The eastern route includes calls to Kusadasi, Turkey, and Greek islands Mykonos and Santorini.
Central Mediterranean itineraries include calls to Trieste (Venice) and a new southern Adriatic itinerary features Taranto, Catania and Greek Ionian islands Cephalonia and Corfu.
Short breaks to Amsterdam are included in Ventura’s summer programme as well as the Canary Islands.
Aurora and Arcadia will offer longer itineraries. Arcadia will sail a 16-night Iceland cruise in June with an overnight call in Reykjavik, Iceland, and a 30-night Canada and USA cruise with overnight calls in Boston and New York to see the sights in these vibrant cities.
Tangier and Casablanca will be part of Aurora’s 18-night western Mediterranean cruise while the ship’s Arctic Circle cruise includes the chance to see the Northern Lights.
President Paul Ludlow said: “Whether a beach and relaxation break, or the opportunity for thrilling activities, exploration and adventures, each itinerary is carefully thought out to discover the heart of the places we visit.”
Pre-registration for the itineraries opens today (March 23). The programme goes on general sale on March 30.
