P&O Cruises has replaced its 2022 world cruise with a 40-night sailing to the Caribbean and a 12-night voyage to the Canary Islands and Portugal.
The voyages on Aurora (pictured) go on sale next Tuesday and will depart from Southampton on February 20 and April 1 next year.
P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said it was “not possible” to operate the scheduled 2022 world cruise on Aurora because of the “complex logistics” currently involved with a global itinerary.
Prices for the 40-night Caribbean sailing on February 20 start from £2,149. Ports of call include La Coruña, Madeira, St Kitts, Guadeloupe, Aruba, St Lucia, Grenada, St Vincent, Barbados and Bonaire.
Aurora will return to Roseau, Dominica, for the first time in almost a decade and will visit Aruba and Guadeloupe for the first time in four years.

The lead-in price for the 12-night Portugal and the Canary Islands itinerary, departing on April 1, 2022, is £599.
Ports of call for the round-trip itinerary are La Palma, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Lisbon.
A third passenger in the same cabin can travel from £199 on both cruises on Aurora. Passengers can also spread the cost monthly for no additional cost.
Aurora will resume the already scheduled itinerary on April 13, 2022, when it sails to the Mediterranean. The line confirmed it will operate a world cruise in 2023.
Details of a world cruise in 2024 will be announced later this year, the line added.
Ludlow said: “The Caribbean and Portugal and Canary Islands are hugely popular with P&O Cruises guests so we’re delighted to be giving more options to enjoy some winter sun in early 2022 and on Aurora, our ship exclusively for adults.
“Due to the global travel limitations still in place and the complex logistics involved in a world cruise, many months in advance, sadly it is just not possible to continue to offer this in 2022.
“We’re extremely sorry as we know how much our guests look forward to this trip of a lifetime. As an alternative, booking is open for our 2023 World Cruise and we’ll be releasing details of our 2024 World Cruise later this year.”
The 1,874-passenger Aurora underwent a “a comprehensive refit” in 2019, the line said.
