Ponant to require passengers to be vaccinated

Passengers aged 16 and above who board a Ponant vessel must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, the line has confirmed .

The French line revealed the new embarkation requirement for passengers in a message to travel agents.

In addition, passengers will also be required to show proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of boarding a ship.

The line also revealed it has invested in “state of the art” medical equipment – including ultrasound and radiography machines, on-site testing facilities and resuscitation equipment.

A doctor and nurse will also be available 24/7, it said.
