Princess Cruises adds comedy-themed cruise to UK programme

Princess Cruises has unveiled details about a new comedy cruise to bolster its themed sailing programme later this summer.

Novelist Jenny Eclair, Hospital People creator Tom Binns and Jeff Stevenson, who appeared on TV show Only Fools and Horses, will headline the three-day cruise on Regal Princess on August 7.

The trio will headline multiple performances on the voyage as part of a Comedy Variety Show.

Onboard entertainment will include an open mic night, famous comedian trivia and comedy gameshows.

Criminal barrister and TV personality Rob Rinder will also be speak on the August 7 departure as part of Princess Cruises’ Encounter with Discovery at Sea speaker programme.

Other themed cruises for Princess’ Summer Seacations include ‘Culinary Stars’ departing September 10 on Sky Princess and ‘Mind, Body and Soul’, starting on August 21 on Regal Princess.

Tony Roberts, Princes Cruises’ vice president, UK and Europe, said: “This cruise with Princess will not only provide guests with fantastic stand-up comedy and a variety of comedy-themed entertainment, but also fine dining, extraordinary service and ever-changing scenery.”

All-inclusive fares for a balcony stateroom on Princess Cruises’ three-night Seacations start from £389 per person. Fares include premium drinks, unlimited Wi-Fi, crew incentive and the cost of any Covid-19 testing which may be required.
