Princess Cruises has added three itineraries to Regal Princess’ 2021 ex-UK season, replacing a cancelled 24-night Canadian Adventure sailing on the same ship.
The decision to scrap the longer voyage follows the Canadian Transport Ministry’s Interim Order to extend the closure of Canadian ports and waters to passenger ships. The order expires on February 28, 2022.
Regal Princess (pictured), due to be homeported in Southampton later this year, will now sail a 12-night Canary Islands voyage, a seven-night Spain & France cruise and a five-night Belgium & Netherlands sampler sailing.
Prices for the Canary Islands cruise, departing from Southampton on September 18, 2021, calling at Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, start from £899.
The three sailings go on sale on March 2.

Tony Roberts, Princes Cruises’ vice president, UK and Europe, said: “We added these new itineraries based on the strong demand from UK guests for our 2021 ex-UK season.
“While we share our guests’ disappointment over the cancelled Canadian Adventure voyage, we’re pleased to be able to offer our guests even more choice of sailings from Southampton for this year.”
Princess Cruises’ Book with Confidence policy allows passengers who book before April 30, 2021, to cancel 30 days prior to sailing on all voyages departing before October 31, 2021, and receive cancellation fees back as Future Cruise Credit.
Next year, the line offers a 25-night Canada and New England cruise departing on September 24, 2022, from Southampton on Sky Princess.
The round-trip itinerary includes an overnight stay in New York City and guests will visit other ports-of-call such as Boston, Rhode Island and Maine in the US.
