Princess Cruises has unveiled its 2022-23 South America and Antarctica programme, featuring six itineraries on Sapphire Princess.
The 10-departure programme, due to go on sale on Wednesday (March 10), includes a 16-day Antarctica & Cape Horn sailing, departing December 19, 2022, and January 20, 2023. There is a reverse itinerary sailing on January 4, 2023.
The 2,670-passenger Sapphire Princess (pictured) will call at Punta Arenas, Chile; Ushuaia, Argentina; the Falkland Islands; Montevideo, Uruguay; and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The 14-night Cape Horn & Strait Magellan itinerary includes an overnight in Buenos Aires and scenic cruising of Amalia Glacier.
Departures are on February 5, March 5 and the reverse itinerary starts on February 19, 2023.

Princess Cruises adds three ex-UK sailings to 2021 programme
The Andes & South America sailing, lasting either 17 or 18 nights, includes an overnight in Lima, Peru, and an optional land tour to Inca citadel Machu Picchu.
The 17-night itinerary departs on December 2, 2022, and the 18-night itinerary on March 19, 2023.
Princess has also included two longer itineraries in the programme, featuring overnights in Lima and Buenos Aires. The 32-night Andes & Cape Horn Grand Adventure departs on March 5, 2023, and the 33-night Antarctica, Andes & Cape Horn Grand Adventure starts on December 2, 2022.
A pair of pre and post-cruise land tours are also available in South America: Iguazu Falls Adventure takes in Rio de Janeiro as well as the waterfalls on the border of Brazil and Argentina; and Machu Picchu Explorer includes the Peruvian city of Cusco as well as the famous Inca site.
