Regent Seven Seas Cruises has promoted Caroline Smith to become vice-president and chief marketing officer.
She has 20 years of experience and joined the company in 2015 as EMEA head of marketing.
Smith has held other global and international marketing roles with the luxury cruise line.
The move follows a leadership restructure at parent Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which saw with Jason Montague returning to the brand as chief luxury officer.
Regent’s marketing efforts will now be jointly led by Smith in her new role and Janice Davidson, who returns to the Regent Seven Seas Cruises brand as vice-president, brand strategy and creative.
They report to Wesley D’Silva, senior vice-president and chief commercial officer, with Smith remaining based in Southampton while Davidson returns to Miami.
Smith said: “Marketing has always been my true passion, and I’m eager to partner up with Janice Davidson as we jointly lead our talented global marketing teams.
“I look forward to charting the future of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, through data-driven strategies, especially with the launch of [a] brand new class of ships on the horizon in 2026 and 2030.”
