Seabourn ‘enhances’ Asia itineraries to meet ‘growing demand’

Seabourn has released Asia itineraries for two of its ships for the late 2024 and 2025 seasons, which it says it has “enhanced” to meet growing demand.

Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest will sail voyages in southeast Asian and Japan from December 2024 to March 2025, and again in November 2025.

The luxury cruise line has also introduced two new optional shore excursions on select voyages to Japan which include a full-day tour of Kobe and a half-day tour in Shimizu.

The latter includes a visit to Tokaido Hiroshige Musuem of Art, followed by a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and a scenic walk through Miho-no-Matsubara pine grove.

Between December 2024 and March 2025, Encore’s itineraries will include seven voyages between Singapore and Hong Kong, with 13 and 14-day options, including a Caviar in the surf experience in Koh Kood in Thailand and overnights in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

On March 2, 2025, Encore will sail a 14-day voyage from Singapore to Kobe in Japan which will feature Tokushima in Japan as a new port of call for the fleet.

The itinerary will also feature an overnight in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, as well as maiden calls for Encore in Kochi and Kobe in Japan.

The ship will finish its season wit ha 25-day Japan & Hawaiian Islands transpacific crossing from Kobe, Japan to Long Beach, California, where it will make its inaugural visit to the United States.

Meanwhile, Quest will sail spring southeast Asia and Japan voyages from March to April 2024, with itineraries ranging from 14 to 34 days and options available to combine voyages.

In April 2025, Quest will sail a 20-day Pacific Passage: Golden Week to Glacier Bay tour which will combine cultural festivities of Golden Week and cherry blossom season in Japan, before heading to Alaska.

In Autumn 2025, the ship will return to Japan and embark on four sailings between September and November 2025, visiting more than 20 destinations across the four main islands with cruise options from 12 to 41 days.

Maiden calls for these itineraries include Akita, Ishinomaki, Niigata and Wakayama.
