Seabourn Venture to host three trade events after UK debut

Seabourn expedition ship Seabourn Venture has made its maiden call in the UK ahead of a series of trade events around the UK this month.

The ship arrived at the Port of Tilbury in Essex on Wednesday morning and will host an overnight event for local trade partners and media in Greenwich on Thursday.

Ship visits for travel agents are also planned in Dublin on May 16 and in Leith on May 24.

The line’s president Natalya Leahy said: ““The UK is a very important market for Seabourn, and we are honoured to be a brand of choice for many extraordinary guests from this region.

“Seabourn Venture is a state-of-the-art ship that combines Seabourn’s luxury elegance and style with full expedition capabilities.

“We can’t wait to showcase her to our UK advisor partners and guests.”

Following Thursday’s event, Seabourn Venture will sail a 12-day Land of the Celts Voyage, ending in Leith, before an 11-day itinerary to the Orkney and Shetland Islands, ending in Reykjavik.

Between June and August, it will sail its second Arctic season with 14- and 15-day voyages before embarking on the line’s first sailing through the Northwest Passage from August 27.
