Seabourn has released details about its new expedition ship’s inaugural itineraries that will feature the British Isles next year.
Seabourn Venture had been scheduled to launch in Greenwich, London, in December 2021, but the line chose to push back the maiden voyage to April 2022. The line blamed the “pandemic and supply chain challenges” for the delay.
It is currently being built at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy.
The 264-passenger vessel (pictured) will operate a maiden 12-day Wild & Ancient British Isles voyage from Greenwich to Leith in Scotland.
Ports of call include Isles of Scilly; Dublin; Island of Mull and Kirkwall, both Scotland. Prices start from £11,999.
Then the ship will sail a 12-day Scottish and Norse Legends Expedition voyage from Leith to Tromso, Norway.
Both voyages are now available to book.
Seabourn Venture’s previously announced itineraries to the Arctic begin on May 4, 2022. Destinations in Svalbard, Norway, Iceland and Greenland are included in the vessel’s debut programme.
