Tradewind Voyages unveils 2022-23 programme

Tall ship cruise line Tradewind Voyages has confirmed plans for its 2022/23 season, with a Caribbean debut from Barbados in November before a return to Europe in April 2023.

The line cancelled its Caribbean season this winter following inaugural sailings in the UK due to ongoing Covid restrictions and is now due to sail its first season in the Mediterranean from May 2022.

The confirmed Caribbean season will run from November to March with a selection of voyages taking in ports of call including the Grenadines, St Vincent, St Lucia, Guadeloupe, British Virgin Islands, St Kitts, St Barts and Antigua.

A summer 2023 Mediterranean season will then run from April to September, taking in destinations including Spain, France, Italy, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece and Turkey.

An early booking incentive until January 31, 2022 includes a deposit of £100 and final payment 30 days prior to sailing. The offer also includes a complimentary Horizon Beer & Wine Collection, worth up to £410, for all 2022 voyages, excluding Christmas and New Year sailings.

Prices start from £1,799, based on double cabin.

The line said the sailings would be “centred around a voyage for the senses”, with itineraries allowing access to smaller ports and showcasing regional food.

Alan McGrory, chief executive, said: “We are delighted to be able to present the full 2022/23 voyages for the senses programme to our partners.

This will allow our past guests that have been eagerly awaiting to book both 2022 and 2023 voyages on board Golden Horizon to do so.

“In addition, we hope it will help our agents and their clients in planning ahead and provide the confidence to continue to make travel plans at this time.”
